Folk Music and Song Session 4th Tuesday of every month at The Woodman, Science Garden, 1 Curzon Street, Birmingham, B47XG
The Woodman is the latest pub to host the Roving Tuesday Folk Sessions in Birmingham, starting on 24th February 2026 and every 4th Tuesday of the month thereafter.
The Woodman is a beautiful 1897, James & Lister Lea architects designed pub built for Ansell’s brewery of Birmingham. Facing the original, iconic, grade 1 listed London and Birmingham Railway Curzon Street station which opened in 1838 and directly opposite the new HS2 Curzon Street station due to open in 2030, the Woodman stands proud retaining many of its original features. Behind the red brick and terracotta exterior, there is a multi-roomed interior, the magnificent Minton tiled main bar with its original back fittings, a Minton tiled smoke room, a cosy library room, and a pleasant outside seating area on the square.
